Enabling Root Access
To get temporary access use sudo command. If you need to login to root frequently use the NetInfo Manager to enable the root account. Steps:
- Open NetInfo Manager.
- Choose Security > Authenticate... from the menu. You will be prompted to sign in using an administrator account.
- Choose Security > Enable Root User from the menu. You will be prompted to provide a password for the root account.
